Raven
Mail, conversations, and drafts.
The beta
Apple builds have Google and Microsoft mail support in source. Android has Google mail connection, cached conversations, search, drafts, reply/forward, attachments, and queued message actions. Public sign-in and complete real-device workflows still need verification.
Android Microsoft sign-in, scheduled send, snooze, and invitation RSVP are unfinished. AI suggestions and IMAP/POP3 are not accepted beta capabilities.
Setup
- Get the build from your pilot organizer. The public app ID is
com.yaboku.raven, separate from development installs. - On Apple, open Settings → Accounts and choose Google or Microsoft. On Android, choose Connect Google account; Google Play services and the correct signing registration are required.
- Review the account and consent screen. Your administrator may need to approve access. Missing registration means sign-in is unavailable.
Permissions explained
| Connection | Access |
|---|---|
| Google · Apple | Identity; Gmail modification (read, send, change mail); basic mail settings; read-only contacts and other contacts. The combined connection also requests calendar lists, events, settings, and free/busy. |
| Microsoft · Apple | Identity/profile and ongoing access; Mail.ReadWrite, Mail.Send, MailboxSettings.ReadWrite, People.Read, Calendars.ReadWrite, and Calendars.ReadWrite.Shared. |
| Google · Android | Gmail modification (gmail.modify). No contacts or calendar scopes in this adapter. |
Contacts support recipient suggestions; calendar access supports calendar workflows and Apple account sharing with Tide. Provider consent is separate from file-picker and notification permissions. Public remote push is disabled pending further work.
Your data
Mail, drafts, queues, and attachment data are stored locally; provider actions go directly to Google or Microsoft. Apple stores tokens in Keychain. Loading remote images on Apple can reveal an opening and network details to senders; Android blocks remote images and active content.
